A thoughtful design strategy is critical to designing beautiful spaces that balance aesthetic and visual consistency with optimal functionality. With our design consultation, we set a clear foundation for your project and what's to come.
During a 2-hour meeting, we will:
- review the design requirements and style preferences we discussed during your discovery call and build upon those in greater detail
- understand your lifestyle, hobbies, and disposition to understand how to design a home that helps you become your best self
- conduct an inventory of current items that will remain and wishlist items you want to incorporate
- take approximate measurements and before photos of the spaces in scope
- discuss preliminary estimates for trades, products, and design fee to provide a range for an overall design investment
- establish a brief outline of scope of work, timelines and project start date for a full design engagement
In addition to the 2-hour engagement at your home, we ask that you complete a pre-consultation questionnaire that we use in our preparation process.
At the end of the consultation, you will walk away with a clearer idea of your future state designed home and an informed basis to help you determine your next steps.
